Louisville is perhaps best known for its two sluggers the bat and the Boxer. In Louisville, you can take flight to both. The Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory provides tours and some very interesting history of the famous bat still used in Major League Baseball today; then head downtown to the Muhammad Ali Center for a look at the famous boxer s past. In addition, there is Old Louisville, an historic district comprised of over 1400 Victorian Era Architecture that was popular in early 1900s Louisville and if you prefer, explore the caves beneath the city for a taste of pre-historic life. For those taking their private jet charter flight to Louisville for business, the main attractions will be more on the lines of UPS, with their World Hub located just outside the city or perhaps some of the many distilleries in the area. In addition, health care and related research has become a major part of the Louisville economy as have Disco Balls, with 90% of these in America manufactured in Louisville. Finally, whereas Louisville was founded as a major trade center, this has not changed, but rather expanded with numerous companies involved in shipping, whether by air, rail, or road, located in or around the metro.
