If going to Washington, DC, naturally there is much from the Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington Mall, the Capital Building, the Washington Monument, and the Lincoln Memorial. You will find museums and cultural centers along with plenty of activities and nightlife.
Reno naturally offers plenty of gambling, but more than this, there are numerous excellent State parks in the region which are great for hiking, fishing, and camping, but for those preferring the more civilized way of enjoying the area, you will find plenty of excellent lodges and resorts complete with spas, fine golf courses, and all the ammenities you would expect.
Tampa Florida offers plenty of sun at a time of year when much of the nation is turning cold and you can carter fishing trips into the Gulf of Mexico at a time when many of the larger game fish, such as Tuna and Mahi Mahi are schooling. In addition, a short trip can get you to Orlando and Disney World at a time when fewer tourists are crowding the park.
San Francisco is never a bad place for vacation (except when the fog rolls in) for there you will find not only the Golden Gate Bridge and Golden Gate Park below, but also Alcatraz Island, and the Bay of San Francisco. The Bay itself is the big deal for it offers the finest Halibut fishing in the world and there are plenty of marinas with charter boats to take you out. In addition, there are numerous things to do in the city along with plenty of great hiking, biking, camping, and fishing excursions in the surrounding mountains.
