Airports: There are two airports near Los Cabos – Los Cabos International Airport (MMSD), the busiest airport in the area, and Cabo San Lucas International Airport (MMSL), which is 4.5 miles northwest of Cabo San Lucas and serves general aviation traffic.

• Villa La Estancia – One nice feature of this property is its location on a good swimming beach (Medano). The rooms are large and all of them have big balconies. Ask for a room with a view of Lands End. There’s a golf course nearby and you’re just a short drive from downtown Cabo San Lucas.
• Cabo Azul Resort – This laid-back but elegant resort is a bit removed from  either Cabo San Lucas or San Jose del Cabo, but you may appreciate the quieter atmosphere, the private beach, three infinity pools and excellent spa.

What to Do: Play a round at Cabo del Sol Golf Club or Diamante Golf Course; head out to El Arco (the landmark natural rock formation that’s shaped like an arch) to look for pelicans and sea lions; soak up some sun at Playa del Amor (Lover’s Beach) or Divorce Beach; or, if you still need more exercise,  grab your surfboard and head for Zippers, at Mile 17 on the Cabo Corridor. And don’t forget Cabo’s vibrant nightlife, even if you’re only there to people watch.
