From the time the first Lear Jet flew until today, this company has managed to create one great aircraft after the next and the Lear 45 is no exception. Charter Flight Group has been offering private charter flights on Lear jets for more than 30 years and is pleased to provide this outstanding performance jet to our private charter clients both in the U.S. and abroad.

The Lear 45 was developed where the company saw a need for a larger light jet and with this model achieved its goal. This is actually termed a super-light, for it falls somewhere between a light jet and the mid-size models. Some of the goals in building this model were to increase passenger comfort within while maintaining the same range and speed as the lighter versions.

In addition, certification on the jet was delayed while the FAA was raising the bar on certain safety features.

Once these were made known, the Lear 45 became the first new production aircraft to feature improved de-icing features which have proven to be invaluable in flight safety. In addition, the company implemented various additional safety features that further enhance the reliability of this light jet such as the Honeywell Primus 1000 EFIS and FADEC controls for the engines specifically created for this aircraft.
