Snorkelling is the habit of swimming on or through a body of water while armed and clothed with a diving mask, with a shaped tube called a snorkel, and usually fins. In cooler waters, a wet suit may also be worn. Use of this material allows the snorkeler to detect and discover underwater attractiveness for extended periods with comparatively little effort and to breathe while face-down at the surface. And where are the best spots for snorkelling? Check the following islands.
1. Big Island, Hawaii
To swim together with the sea turtles, carry your fins and mask to Kahaluu Beach Park, based five and a half miles south of Kailua-Kona on the Big Island. This shot is cherished and favoured with both locals and visitors and is one of the best places in the state to see green sea turtles. A freshwater spring that is draining through the black-sand beach feeds into Kahaluu’s calm ocean bay. The blending of waters triggers the growth of the algae, which captivates and fascinates the turtles. Watch the turtles when they are fed in the shallows and then deep-sea diving out to the protective rock reef where plenty of resident reef fish contend and clash with even more turtles for your attention.
2. Bay Islands, Honduras
At up to 40 feet in length, these gigantic animals look frightening and terrifying but are absolutely harmless, eating only plankton and small marine life, these are the whale shark. When these inattentive behemoths progress to the surface, don your snorkel gear and slip into swim beside them while they are being fed.
3. Dry Tortugas, Florida
For you to try and experience a true snorkelling promise land, you should first fly by float plane from Key West and then do a raft or boat landing to reach the Dry Tortugas National Park. The park’s flat reefs are the least-visited in the U.S. And also a home to a wealth of Caribbean fish species and live corals.
The remaining hardened coral is brilliant and dazzling, and the freshwater pools interrupted with stalactites and stalagmites attract adventuresome snorkelers. Arranging the glass-clear water is simple, but getting in and out of the caves requires good and durable shoes and at least a minimal level of fitness
5. Bligh Water, Fiji
Some of Fiji’s most beautiful reefs are planted in the distant region called the Bligh Water, which is located halfway between the largest islands of Viti Levu and Vanua Levu. Here, breathtaking seamounts climb hundreds of feet up from the ocean floor, topping out just below the water’s surface and creating a fountain of marine life. Brace yourself to be astonished by plumes of bright and flashy soft corals, passing schools of gem-hued anthias and the micro world of different coloured invertebrates all striving and asking for your attention.
If you wish to visit these places, flying in a charter private jet is a good idea. Charter private jet provides answer to your relaxation needs; this allows you and your family and friends to travel in pleasure, comfort, and privacy.
