Harrods– The original store was founded by Charles Henry Harrod in 1824 but burnt to the ground in 1883 and was rebuilt. This is Europe’s biggest department store, covering 5 acres and over 1,000,000 square feet. There are 330 departments featuring everything you can imagine, plus 32 restaurants, and it takes over 5,000 employees to run it on any given day. Pack good walking shoes!
Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum– Inside the grounds of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, this is the largest tennis museum in the world. It has exhibits and artifacts that date back to 1555. If you go during Wimbledon, you’ll need a tournament ticket to get in.
