CFG is going to be at the annual National Business Aviation Association meeting and convention! This convention will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada from October 22 to 24 and will be located at Henderson Executive Airport. There will be over eighty aircraft booked for the static display at the Airport and another dozen will be found at the Light Business Aircraft display in the Las Vegas Convention Center.
There will be several training events and meeting held during this convention. Many topics will be covered, from safety to taxes for the business aviator. Several classes will be offered and many key issues will be addressed during the meetings and educational sessions.
There will also be the NBAA/CAN Soiree, called an Evening With Angels, held at the Wynn Las Vegas and features a highly acclaimed Beatles tribute band, The Fab Four. There will also be a reception and silent auction beforehand along with a live auction conducted by the famed auctioneer Spanky Assiter of Barrett Jackson Auto Auction. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Corporate Angels Network, which is responsible for arranging free flights on available business aircraft seats for cancer patients needing transportation to treatment centers.
Special guests include FAA administrator Michael Huerta and Transportation Security Administrator John Pistole. Giving key note addresses will be the CSX chairman, former US Treasury Secretary John Snow, and Missouri congressman and House GA Caucus co-chair Sam Graves.
It is suggested for those who are planning to fly to Las Vegas for this convention to call ahead as reservations will be required for the Henderson Airport and parking reservations will be needed at McCarran International. A good alternative may be the North Las Vegas Airport, which is not far from the action at the Convention Center. Of course, if you need to book a flight, give us a ring at 1-888-634-7449–we are, after all, going that way anyway.
