One of the most significant revelations is about which aircraft business jet travelers most yearn for. In the category of the very light jet, it is the Embraer’s Phenom 100, which is one of the Presidents Aviation light jet fleets. In fact, its rival was not even close to Embraer Phenom 100’s percentage, whichgarnered 52.4% of the votes.

Next in line was theCessna Citation 510 Mustang at 37.4%, trailed bythe Eclipse 500/550 with a vote of 5.9%. The “Other” category came in last with a vote of 4.4%.

By the way, the Phenom 300 of Embraer also got the top billing under the small-cabin/light jet category. For this specific style jet, the competition was a little crowded, but Embraer’s Phenom 300 still emerged as the winner, which took about 30% of the vote, with the next competitor coming in less than 20%.

The results of the survey revealed that the capability to save time is the main reason that businesses opt to fly on private jets. Other factors for their decision to travel on private jets include the following:

  • Age of aircraft
  • Cabin size
  • Range
  • Speed
  • Aircraft manufacturer
  • Cockpit technology

Features that have less importance were, surprisingly, things such as baggage space and cabin amenities.

The Phenom 100 provides the biggest cabin and windows in its category and costs, which are vital to business jet travelers.

The jet can accommodate four and has a flying range of 1,178 nautical miles with a cruising maximum speed of 390 mph. The jet’s cabin has ample room for its size with a cabin height of 4.9ft, width of 5.1ft and a length of 11ft.
