The Green Bay Packers are known as a professional American football team based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. They were founded on August 11, 1919 by Curly Lambeau and George Whitney Calhoun. The team has played since 1919 and played professionally in the National Football League (NFL) since 1921.
On August 27, 1921, the Packers became a professional franchise when they joined the American Professional Football Association. The franchise was being revoked by the league at the end of the season when they were revealed to have used college players in a game.

Included in this run was a three-peat wherein the team won one NFL title before dominating the first two Super Bowls, by a combined score of 68-24.
