Minnesota Vikings are a professional American football team, which is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As an expansion team, the Minnesota Vikings joined the National Football League in 1960. The hiring date was on January 16, 2014. Norv Turner, a former Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator, replaced Bill Musgrave, and George Edwards replaced defensive coordinator Alan Williams.
